How to Calculate LIC Market Plus Returns
If you have invested in a market linked plan of LIC then you would want to know how well those funds have performed. Here is how to doLIC Market Plus Number Of Units Allocated :
Step 1. Suppose You are 35 years old and have invested Rs 50,000 on 5/7/2006 in Growth fund i.e equity option as a premium in the policy for 10 years then that amount minus the charges is invested in the policy at the NAV date of your premium
Step 2. NAV of the fund on that day would have been Rs 10Step 3. Amount actually invested by you would be Rs 41,690 (Rs 50,000 - premium allocation charge-Policy administration charge) assuming that you have not taken any life cover (based on the charges shown below)
Step 4. Number of Units allocated to you would be 4169 (41690/10)
Step 5: To find your own units you must register on LIC site and enroll your policy in your account and you will be shown number of units.

Policy Administration Charge: Rs. 60/- per month during the first policy year and Rs. 20/- per month thereafter, throughout the term of the policy.

To find the return of LIC Market Plus Policy you should know the number of units allocated to you
Current status of your LIC Market Plus Policy will be : Number of Units * Today's NAV.
today's NAV of LIC market Plus is Rs 15.999 after a period of 6 years 9 Months and 30 days.
In our case this amount will be approximately Rs 64,600.
LIC Market Plus Annualized rate of return will 3.821%
Its not true, I have invested in Market plus 40,000/-, today after 3years 45 days its stand as 34,900....

ReplyDeleteThe LIC Policy never give a clear calculation to get after maturity or sarrunder. I invest Rs 30,000 on 20 Aug 10 and on surrender 02 july 17 the Market Plus 1 growth, The Lic paid me Rs 42,519 on 03 july 17. My unit alloweted 2111.189 with NAV 14.21000 on
